Romanian Chamber Orchestra is a cultural ambassador of Romania, founded by Romanian musicians from the Diaspora with the mission of promoting national artistic excellence worldwide. Conceived as a “national team of musicians,” the ensemble brings together leading Romanian artists under the baton of Cristian Măcelaru and Gabriel Bebeșelea.

Since its founding in 2019, the orchestra has gained international recognition through high-profile concerts, innovative projects, acclaimed recordings, and broadcasts via the European Broadcasting Union. Highlights include appearances at the George Enescu International Festival, sold-out concerts in concert venues like Concertgebouw Amsterdam or Kölner Philharmonie, and collaborations with renowned soloists.
